I'm Cameron -  I'm a Wealth Advisor splitting time between Charlotte and Durham, NC. I work with clients ranging from hospital and university employees to small business owners, and my end goal is your end goal: financial security. Before determining the appropriate financial strategy for anyone I get the chance to work with, I think it's important to build a relationship and figure out what really is important to you from a financial standpoint.

More about me: I graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where I started off studying medicine. However, after a series of events including getting to walk some friends through personal finance decisions, I decided to switch course. (That happened to also be when I met my wife, a nurse practioner, who is a much better studier than I am, and she scared me away from the MCAT). Now as an advisor, I'm passionate about the opportunity I have to bring about a sense of security and well-being to my clients through financial advising. In order to help clients feel free from the burden of financial stress, I work with them on anything and everything financial, including student loans, budgets, retirement investments, and financial planning. My specialty is helping those I work with make the right investment selections in their retirement plans.

I work alongside Seth, my brother and fellow wealth advisor. Some days, it's great. Other days... we keep working for those great days. Jokes aside, together we're able provide clients with access to further expertise and better resources than what we could do on our own. Together, we host dinner presentations for medical professionals and benefits groups up and down the East Coast, and we've spoken at hospitals including the Mayo Clinic, Duke University, Emory University, and UNC.

My wife and I are originally from Charlotte, and this point, you've read long enough to know we both are recreational CrossFit junkies and are happy to share the Kool-Aid. We have a Border Collie named Luna who I'm probably on a walk with right now, and we're blessed to get to do what we do every day.

I look forward to connecting! Shoot me an email at Cameron@SoundFoundationWA.com.

Seth Church

Phone: (704) 999-1278

Email: Seth@SoundFoundationWA.com

Seth Church is a wealth advisor based in Durham, NC. He works primarily with members of the medical community, from attending and resident physicians of various specialties to members of the mental health counseling community. He specializes in building financial plans centered around clients' goals, forming all the necessary implementation steps to help each household obtain their dreams. Seth loves to work with people who love working with people.

After leaving his home town of Charlotte, NC, Seth attended the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill where he studied Kinesiology and took pre-medicine courses with the goal of helping those around him through medicinal practices. After a brief stint working in the Emergency Department of UNC, Seth decided that although he loved working with medical professionals, he needed to find a different avenue to connect with these individuals. Following in the footsteps of his older brother and now partner, Cameron Church, Seth pivoted to a career in financial advising where he has found great joy in working with medical practitioners through all types of financial concerns.

Seth prides himself on being “the go-to-guy” for his clients. Whether someone has questions on student loans, investments, or asset and family protection, he is confident in his ability to find a solution with which the client will be pleased.

Outside of the office, Seth can be found participating in any type of outdoor activities. He coaches group classes at Crossfit Chapel Hill and is currently training for a couple of upcoming triathlons. He enjoys cooking new recipes, hosting dinner parties, and trying his hand at various carpentry projects. He is involved with Christ Central Church in downtown Durham.

"This practice would not run without Jenny." - Nathan, Cory, Cameron and Seth

First, the boys made me include that. But I'm Jenny, and I do my best to make the Sound Foundation ship run smoothly. I'm passionate about helping each and every person accomplish their goals, and even if I'm not doing the meetings, I can accomplish that as the practice manager. I do my best to make efficient management of our internal systems, assist in the onboarding and transition of new clients, and helping the team maintain timely communication with those we have the chance to work with.

As a mom of four, you can count on me being attentive to detail (you should see the calendar on our fridge - LOTS of soccer practice). I strive to be responsive to client needs and care about making the logistics of our office run smoothly and efficiently.  When I'm not at the office or soccer practice, you can find me spending time with my husband, volunteering at my church, or cramming in a workout at F45.

Melissa Hamm

Client Service Specialist

Melissa Hamm

I'm Melissa, the newest member to the Sound Foundation team. I joined the practice for an opportunity to use all the talents I have as a mom as a practice coordinator, and I make sure to to button up all the loose ends as everything (not an exaggeration) comes across my desk. A team is only as strong as it's weakest part, so besides making sure the team machine is working smoothly, I'm in charge of making sure we're always on the same page and actively improving our processes.

If that doesn't sound like enough, I have three kids (four if you count my husband), a photography business local to Meridian, ID, I lead worship at my church, and somehow, I cram in a couple of CrossFit workouts during the week. You can always reach out if you can't get hold of Nathan, Cory, Cameron, or Seth, and I'll make sure that it doesn't happen again!

I'm thankful for the chance to work for a company that values each of the people we get the chance to work with and look forward to helping out in your financial journey as well. Reach me at Melissa@SoundFoundationWA.com.
